Ceremony

Our wedding ceremony took place in Occidental College's beautiful Herrick Chapel. We have performed here many times, including Robert's senior recital and many Glee Club concerts. Edward Murray—Robert's organ instructor at Oxy— served as organist, and Dominick DiOrio—Assistant Professor of Music at Indiana University and fellow conducting student of Robert's at Yale— serves as choirmaster. Robert's best friend Kelsey Wetmore and Andrew's sister Susan Miller served as maids of honor and celebrants, and pronounced us married. About 80 people attended, 18 of whom were in the ceremony choir.

Reception

A 5-minute drive from Herrick Chapel, the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock is a former Carnegie library converted into an art gallery and event space. Guests joined us for the reception immediately following the ceremony, and serenaded us with a kazoo fanfare before settling down to a taco bar dinner and two delicious cakes.
